1) You don't have to have a site to join (and if you do, it doesn't have to be MAP-related, but you do have to be a MAP fan! ^_~)
2) Some of the questions on the sign-up form are optional, but you MUST give a name (it can be a screenname, but if you use your real name, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give a last initial, to differentiate between you and other fans who might have the same first name) and country, and GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL, so I can reach you if necessary. I don't sell the emails, and they don't have to be linked to your entry, but you *must* still SUBMIT it. If you don't, you won't be listed. It's that simple.
3) If you submit a site, it cannot contain racist, hate, or pornoraphic material. It can, however, be non-MAP related and still be linked in the list, if you wish it.
4) Please tell me if you want your email address linked (it wont be, otherwise). Email addies are protected from spambots by javascript.

Maybe I'm biased, since it was the first book of her's I'd ever read, and the only one I'd found for many years, but to me it's still the best-written. Why you love MAP: It was almost 15 years ago when I first read translated "DarkAngel". I was really attracted the story and her outstanding imaginary world. I was looking forward to be translated next story for long time. But unfortunately, they've never issued them again... So I bought English paper book. To be honest, it was a bit difficult to understand all sentences; still I could enjoy whole story. Incredible writing, wonderful use of language, intensely lush and vivid colors and textures. She gets "numinous" in a way that other fantasy writers sometimes strive for but never achieve. Plus, I have long blonde hair and green eyes, so there was a definite identification with Aeriel going on ;> I hated the ending at first, but as I've grown, I've come to realize that her ending has much more depth, richness and complexity than any happily-ever-after my teen self might have demanded. 47) PaulVuori Where from?: Sweden Fave book(s): The Darkangel Trilogy Why you love MAP: She wrote the most wonderful books I ever read 48) shel Where from?: USA Fave book(s): The Darkangel Why you love MAP: Her books just grab you. Why you love MAP: I think the world she created in the Darkangel series is really interesting because of the intricate use of detail in bolstering a parallel universe that a reader can escape into mentally. I just wish there would be some more on Irrylath because in the series, his side of the picture is totally unclear, and yes it may be niave to want a happier ending but after all Ariel went through, I hoped it would be a happier ending because even if she is with Irrylath, she can't really be with him because she isn't mortal any more. 55) Emma Richards Where from?: USA Fave book(s): The Darkangel Trilogy.
